Field of application
DT-1.4563 is used for welding UNS N08028 base metal to itself or to other stainless steel grades. The filler metal is also suitable for joining Alloy 825 and other similar materials. They are recommended for environments containing sulphuric and phosphoric acid. The elements C, Si, P and S are limited to low maximum values in order to minimise hot cracking and fissuring in the weld metal (while maintaining corrosion resistance) which frequently occur in fully austenitic stainless steel weld metals.
