Field of application
DT-DUR 55 Mo is a self-shielded flux-cored wire with a high C, Cr, Mo alloy content. It is suitable for surfacing on parts exposed to severe wear by mineral substances. The weld metal is rust-resistant. The deposit should be applied in 2-3 layers with a maximum thickness of 8 mm. The best results are obtained with a two-layer deposit. The weld metal should be subjected to less shock and impact stress. With a small wire diameter and ideal current setting, a crack-free deposit is possible. The addition of 1,3 % molybdenum additionally gives the deposit a higher hot strength compared with the alloy DT-DUR 55 (up to 450° C). Grinding bowls, crushing rolls
