Field of application
DT-DUR 65 is a flux-cored wire with a high C, Cr, Mo, Nb, W, V alloy content. Owing to the high percentage of alloying constituents, which form extremely hard carbides, DT-DUR 65 is suitable for hard hardfacing on parts subjected to extreme abrasive mineral wear. The wear resistance is retained up to temperatures of approx. 800 ° C. The microstructure consists of primary and eutectically solidifying Cr carbides as well as Nb, Mo, W, V carbides in a heat-resistant and scaling-resistant austenitic matrix. The hardness decreases by about 4% at 400° C and by about 10% at 700° C. Blast furnace bells, fire grates, spike crushers
