Product description
Gloorotherm flame-arresting device for acetylene, from the high-performance GFN 1800 series (as opposed to the standard GFN 1500 series). It combines three safety functions in one device: a non-return valve that prevents reverse gas flow, a flame arrestor with a sintered filter that stops the propagation of a flashback flame, and a temperature-activated cut-off valve in which the melting of a special solder releases a spring-loaded shut-off piston. The GFN 1800 series is intended for higher-flow applications such as machine cutting and low-pressure distribution systems, while the standard GFN 1500 series is used on individual cylinders and gas take-off points.
