Product description

Rutile coated electrode for build-up and hardfacing of parts subjected to high metal-to-metal wear, compression, impact at elevated temperatures. Weld metal is resistant to operating temperatures up to 600° C, because of it's Cr, Mo, W, V content. Electrode can also be used for production of new hot and cold cutting tools and their edges, which are made of low alloy steels. Has a stable arc, good bead appearance and very easy slag removal. Typical Applications: Due to its high strength, toughness and heat resistance ideally suited for hot forging dies, saddles, hammers, hot and cold cutting tools, hot shears blades and rolling mills.
