Product description
Heavy coated, high recovery (235%) hardfacing electrode, depositing evenly distributed Cr and B-carbides in austenitic stainless steel matrix. Required hardness and abrasion resistance can be obtained in the first layer even on low alloy steels. Suitable for hardfacing of parts subjected to heavy abrasion with moderate impact. The typical transverse cracks occuring in such a hard metal is not suitable for applications where impact and shock conditions prevail. The hardfacing layers have a very smooth surface and machinable only by grinding. Possible to use with both DC and AC. Typical Applications: Particularly used in excavator teeth, leading edges of excavator buckets, mixer blades, gravel pumps, cement fans, conveyor worn-screws, conveyor belts
