Product description

Self-shielded flux-cored wire designed for hardfacing parts exposed to severe abrasive wear and low impact. The weld metal has high hardness due to its high chromium carbide content and can only be machined by grinding. Transverse cracks that may occur in the weld bead do not reduce wear resistance. A maximum of three layers is recommended. Typical Applications: Hardfacing of wear plates made from carbon steels, low/high alloy steels, or Ni-Hard materials. Suitable for bucket teeth and crusher picks of earth-moving machinery, screw conveyors, mixer fan blades, and crushers.
