Field of application
DT-2.4642 is a nickel-chromium filler metal with good weldability and low crack sensitivity for the joint welding of matching and similar materials. The material was developed in particular for surfacing and for welding in components made of Ni-Cr-Fe in the primary circuit of power plants. For welding Alloy 690. Owing to its excellent corrosion properties, particularly against stress corrosion cracking, and its good weldability, it is also suitable for surfacing on C steels.
