Product description

Basic type, heavy coated electrode designed for welding creep-resistant and high-pressure hydrogen-resistant steels. Specifically preferred for steam generating power plants, heavy-duty boilers, superheaters, and piping systems operating at elevated temperatures. The lower carbon (LC) content ensures lower hardness and provides excellent crack resistance, making it suitable for weld repairs even when post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) is not immediately possible. Features a very stable arc with minimal spatter, ensuring easy handling even under difficult welding conditions. The basic coating produces smooth weld beads and easy slag removal. Weld metal provides excellent creep and stress rupture properties with low diffusible hydrogen content. Preheating, interpass temperature, and post-weld heat treatment should be performed in accordance with the base metal requirements.

Storage and re-drying
