Product description

This thick coated rutile-acid type electrode is designed for efficient welding of steels with tensile strengths up to 510 N/mm². It features a high current-carrying capacity, allowing fast welding with deep penetration, especially in fillet welds and narrow groove angles. The electrode produces smooth, high-quality weld beads with excellent slag detachability, even in difficult welding positions such as tight corners. Due to its low silicon content, the weld metal is particularly suitable for subsequent surface treatments, including galvanizing, enameling, and rubber cladding. It performs reliably on galvanized, primer-painted, and slightly rusted components, making it an excellent choice for shipbuilding, vehicle manufacturing, boiler construction, and pipe welding applications. The resulting welds exhibit high tensile strength and are suitable for X-ray quality inspection, ensuring structural integrity and durability.
