Product description
SW 803 NiMo1 is a copper-coated solid submerged arc welding wire alloyed with Nickel (Ni) and Molybdenum (Mo). It is designed for multi-pass submerged arc welding of high-strength, low-alloy and fine-grained steels, as well as steels requiring good toughness at low temperatures. When used in combination with SF 401 flux, it provides weld metal with high strength and good low-temperature impact toughness. It is suitable for use in the fabrication of pressure vessels, boilers, tanks, pipes and pipe fittings, offshore structures, oil and gas equipment, forgings, and heavy steel constructions.
